![]() ![]() One of the major goals with Studio 2 was to modernise the interface. Lets just launch right into what has changed. Studio 2 began as a tidy up, and morphed into considerably more. It lets you record video directly from your screen, after which you can edit it (trim, add notations, more video, and so on). IShowU Studio is a screen capture & editing solution. Better export (1:1, common downscale sizes).Much improved editing with new & more shortcuts, alignment, distribution.Revisited user interface, cleaner, more sensible layout. This article covers the differences in more detail. You should see the level meter bounce in iShowU Instant (or Studio 2), and you may hear it if "monitor application audio" is selected. As an iShowU Studio 1 customer, you might be asking yourself "why should I get iShowU Studio 2?".Ī reasonable question, and one not well served by a simple comparison table.Make sure that Output is set to speakers, or similar.Revert the default output, by going to System Preferences | Sound | Output.Double check that (hh:mm:ss increasing, for example). Of course I assume here iTunes is happily playing something. If you do NOT then there's a problem with the driver. You should see activity in its level meter. ![]()
